Clinical – Medical Assistant

– Greet patients and assist with rooming, checking vitals, and providing necessary clinical support – Schedule patient appointments and answer incoming calls courteously and efficiently – Draw blood, administer vaccines, and perform point-of-care testing as needed – Maintain a collaborative relationship with staff and healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care – Support health education and outreach efforts within the clinical environment – Utilize electronic medical records to document patient information accurately and promptly – Assist with inventory management and supply organization in the clinical area

– Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship work – Certification as a Medical Assistant strongly preferred – Knowledge of phlebotomy and venipuncture techniques – Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems – Attention to detail and accuracy in clinical documentation – Effective communication skills for patient interaction – Strong computer skills and familiarity with clinical software – Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting

– Bilingual skills preferred to enhance patient communication – Experience in primary care or outpatient clinics is highly desirable – Willingness to work flexible hours based on clinic needs – Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including children aged 3 and above – Certification/licenses required or preferred include Medical Assistant certification and phlebotomy certification – Educational background in healthcare or related field preferred – Schedule includes weekdays with specific hours; availability for shift coverage is necessary
